Spiritual Life Coaching – Unwrapping
There is a moment in the story of Lazarus, in John 11, where he has come out of the tomb and Jesus turns to the people around him and says, “Unwrap him and let him go!” Jesus doesn’t do it. He doesn’t specify who should do it. It does sound like a very unsavory job. Who wants to unwrap a walking dead man – seriously who would want to do that? Yet, those words are marching orders for everyone. We may seem like the walking dead unless we have hope. It is our job to unwrap people who have no hope and share it with them. It is like zombieland out there sometimes. We have been given new life so don’t let them eat your brains or your hope. Give life to others – YOU unwrap them.
